Our Story

In 1967, Norman Thomas emigrated to Cleveland, OH from Lebanon, where he had been working in a luxury jewelry story located in Beirut’s 5 star hotel, the “Phoenicia”.

Norman spent a few years working in well-loved Retailers Rose and Zales Jewelers in before opening “NJ Thomas Jewelers” with his brother Manny Thomas in 1982. The brothers worked together for over 35 years, producing custom-made pieces for their clientele on the west side of Cleveland until they both retired in 2018.

This website is a chance for Norman to reconnect with old customers, and share select pieces from the vault with new customers across America. It’s also an opportunity to reach out to Norman for custom designs, consultations, appraisals, and to schedule a video viewing of any of the pieces on our website.
